Guyana’s health and rehabilitation system Guyana’s health system covers the urban, coastal, and hinterland regions of the country with five levels of care: – Health post/clinic\ – Community Health Centre – District Hospital/Regional Hospital and the National referral hospital.
In each administrative region, there are at least three levels of healthcare including health posts, health centres and at least one district or regional hospital.
Disability and rehabilitation services are administered and delivered through MoH’s Programme 7. The Programme is organised into four main components with sub-components.
