MOH signs agreement with China Medical Team, CPGL for advanced training in medicine

During a brief meeting held on September 19 at his Brickdam Headquarters, the Honourable Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the China Medical Team, in collaboration with CNOOC Petroleum Guyana Limited (CPGL).

This partnership aims to enhance the training and development of Guyanese doctors, fostering greater expertise within Guyana’s healthcare sector.

CPGL remains committed to the growth of Guyana’s health industry and continues to embrace its social responsibilities through this significant initiative. Present at this meeting were, the Chief Medical Officer Dr Narine Singh; Dr Zhao Changyong, Head of the 19th China Medical Team and other officials.
