Yesterday, the Ministry of Health hosted a Telemedicine Training Session aimed at enhancing the capacity of primary healthcare and Regional Health Service workers.
The training focused on improving the effectiveness of programmes and sub-programmes utilising the telemedicine platform. Telemedicine is currently being implemented in Regions 1, 7, 8, 9, and 10 to facilitate patient visits and follow-up consultations for specialist cases, ensuring better access to healthcare services, particularly in remote areas.
This initiative underscores the Ministry’s commitment to advancing healthcare delivery through innovative technologies and improving patient care nationwide.
