In an effort to strengthen the health sector, the Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation (PAHO/WHO), has launched a two-day workshop to explore the future implementation of Health Services Networks in Guyana. Bringing together participants and key stakeholders from across the health sector, this workshop aims to initiate discussions on how Guyana can organise and deliver high-quality healthcare services for all in the coming years. A key focus will be on the coordination of health facilities across various levels of care to ensure an integrated and efficient system.Throughout the two-day workshop, participants will explore and discuss key areas where policies and programmes may be necessary for the future operationalisation of a Health Services Network in Guyana.Present at this event were, Mr Daniel Albrecht, PAHO/WHO Representative, a.i, Guyana; Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr Narine Singh; Facilitators Gustavo Rosell and Andres Coitino and other stakeholders.
