Minister Dr Frank Anthony engage with PAHO/WHO Representative on women’s and adolescent girls’ health project

Today, Minister of Health Dr Frank Anthony engaged in discussions at his Brickdam Headquarters with Dr Kim Eva Dickson, the Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation (PAHO/WHO) Representative to Guyana, regarding the Improved Health of Women and Adolescent Girls in Situations of Vulnerability Project.

This collaborative initiative, led by PAHO/WHO in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, seeks to enhance the empowerment and leadership of women and adolescent girls in areas of sexual, reproductive, and maternal health care rights. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of these groups to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
