Health Minister receives courtesy call from PAHO Director

Honourable Dr Frank Anthony, Minister of Health on Monday received a courtesy call from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Director, Dr. Jarbas Barbosa.

The meeting focused on deepening collaboration in public health, strengthening health systems, and advancing universal health coverage in Guyana and the wider Caribbean.

Dr Barbosa who is currently in Guyana on a three-day visit was also accompanied by his PAHO counterparts in Guyana at the meeting.
