Health Minister receives courtesy call from IAEA expert

The Minister of Health, Honourable Dr Frank Anthony, today received a courtesy call from Valerie Cuccia, an expert from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), at his office on Brickdam. She was accompanied by a team from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Ms Cuccia is in Guyana to assist in updating the country’s Radiation Source Inventory for both health and industrial facilities, which was last updated in 2015.
