Health Minister receive courtesy call from new Peace Corps Director

Honourable Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony, welcomed Brian Zoeller, the newly appointed Director of Programme and Training for the Peace Corps, during a Courtesy Call at his Brickdam office.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry of Health and the Peace Corps, particularly in public health training, community health initiatives, and capacity building.

Accompanying Mr Zoeller was Merica George, Programme Manager (Health), Peace Corps/Guyana.

A key discussion point was the proposed two-year extension of the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two entities aimed at furthering health sector development through volunteer-driven projects.
