This morning, the Honourable Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony, welcomed a delegation from Mohawk College during a courtesy visit to discuss the implementation of a Sonography Training Programme in Guyana.
The initiative aims to enhance local healthcare capacity by providing specialised training for 15 participants. The visiting team from Mohawk College includes Mr Gordon Kyle-Scott, Ms Laura Thomas, and Mrs Elizabeth Meagan-Jefferson.
This collaboration underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services through education and training, ensuring improved diagnostic capabilities for the benefit of the Guyanese people.
