On September 8th, the Honourable Dr Frank Anthony, Minister of Health, participated in the Amerindian Heritage Fitness Walk, held under the theme “Many Voices, One Song: Celebrating Amerindian Heritage.” The walk began at the Umana Yana and ended at the National Park Commission. The Honourable Minister congratulated the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs for commemorating the fitness walk. He also took the opportunity to encourage individuals to take advantage of the Ministry of Health’s voucher programme, which offers free eye testing and spectacle vouchers for children aged 18 and under, as well as for those aged 65 and over, along with cervical cancer screening vouchers for women aged 21 to 65. The walk saw participants from various ministries, including staff from the Ministry of Health.
