(Georgetown, – November 12, 2025) – The Honourable Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony, today met with Mr Fernando Varela, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Spain covering Guyana, at his Brickdam office.
During the meeting, Mr Varela expressed Spain’s keen interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation with Guyana in the health sector. He highlighted opportunities for collaboration following a recent European Union trade mission to Guyana and noted Spain’s willingness to engage in projects that could benefit the country’s healthcare system.
